TEMPLATE ADHESION TEST#
Adhesion test is a key attribute for attachment templates. Adhesion testing shows that Zendura AT templates bond more strongly to all tested composite materials compared to TRAK*, while TRAK maintains consistently lower adhesion forces—an advantage for clear aligner workflows.
Lower adhesion means TRAK templates release more easily after attachment bonding, potentially reducing the risk of accidentally removing or disturbing newly placed attachments, while AT’s higher adhesion can create stronger retention but may require more careful removal.
